Has anyone had their frame resprayed in or near Edinburgh please? What did they offer (in terms of service) and what were the costs please?

    Cheers, Dave C

Great work, woeful but friendly service. Think it was £40 per colour.

I agree with above. The sprayed my bike as well as a friends. I paid £80, but wanted a specific colour. If you pick from any of their colours, its a lot cheaper. I think a friend of mine paid about £30 or £40.

Thanks very much, this is cheaper than I originally through. Now which of my battered bikes to strip down??

It's got me thinking about the ratty nineties hybrid. I think she will shortly retire from the streets, acquire a serious suspension fork and become a trail bike, ready for the Tyndrum to Findhorn transect.

A two tone trail bike....frame and forks in complementary and groovy hues...maybe do some custom decals?

I gotta admit the frames on their site have some lovely jolly colours.

Henderson Metal here too (although mud spatter is user's own).

Turn around was a couple of weeks. Very helpful and friendly, but they do admit themselves that it might not be quick (I think they do batches of things).

Yup, they do bikes and other retail bits and bobs in sporadic batches when the industrial quantities of Victorian radiators allow.

Don't expect them to phone you either.

Not sure I could call it a serious suspension fork but i have an old frame with attached suspension fork (which is about 10 year younger than the bike) that you're welcome to take away from my garage and do with as you please.

Most kind. If there's a decent length of steerer left on it I may well take you up on that.

Ah. Here it is. I thought I'd lost this. There's 65mm of steerer above the thingummy. 65mm of spacers and the headset.

I had mine partly done via Eastside Bikes (I have some modification made to the frame and modified area re-sprayed), they were very good.

Hart's can build a frame. According to the dérobement build details he knows a guy called Bruce who has a sprayshop.
