More Bike Thefts - South Edinburgh

    From ERC FB pages today. If any spotted please contact me.

    Sadly not the first post on this and probably not the last. I would think long and hard at the moment about leaving bikes in outbuildings of any type in Edinburgh.
    We've had four bikes stolen overnight from a shed - any info/grapevine news appreciated. Already posted on Stolen Bike Edinburgh Register.
    Marin Bear Valley SE 19" frame gun metal grey - circa 1996 - hardtail, no sus, with bar ends, cat eye wired computer with cadence sensor, blackburn rack, specialized saddle
    Mongoose BMX - purple pedals/bar grips
    Genesis CdF 58" 2014 as new - stolen with Cateye rechargeable light on front
    Specialised Rockhopper Pro Disc Black - circa 2007; altered with Shimano brakes on back, original Avid brakes on front, no pedals when stolen

    and more. this time Marchmont from last night.

    3 Mountain bikes stolen from our lobby in Marchmont tonight - 1 x Isla Bike Mtb green, 1x Genesis Core mtb silver and 1x Garey Fisher mtb pale blue... let me know if you spot anything

    There was something on police twitter this morning about recovering a number of stolen bikes from Muirhouse last night.

    A friend posted on FB yesterday:-

    "Seems a lot of my mates in Edinburgh have had bikes stolen lately: about half a dozen in the last couple of weeks. Organised thing going on maybe? "
