Anyone selling a rear wheel?

    Hi guys. Just a quick thought before i head around every bike shop in edinburgh, is anyone selling a 700c rear Road wheel that'll fit 9 speed shimano cassette.

    Mine is refusing to hold true. Its solely for commuting and general around townness so not that fussed about how tatty it is.

    Let me know if you might have spmething!

    I've got one you can have for nowt if you want. I think it should take a 9 speed.

    Might I revive/hijack this thread?

    I'm looking for a rear wheel for a salvaged MTB which I'm renovating for my son. (He's on a 24" wheeled bike just now but it won't be long before he grows out of it).

    26" rims for rim brakes, ideally QR axle and freehub for cassette, but solid nutted axle and srew-on freewheel hub is okay too. It will be a seven speed setup so either would do.

    Anyone have anything in reasonable condition they're prepared to part with?

    Also looking for a decent semi-slick tyre. Front has a very nice Schwalbe CityJet on it: if anyone has a matching tyre with not too much wear, or something similar, please let me know.

    I'll let this stay here for a bit before resorting to Bike Station or fleaBay...
