Anyone had any experience of them?

Time for new tyres, and although the Marathon +'s puncture rate has about half as often as Gatorskins, I prefer the ride and rolling resistance of gatorskins.

Perhaps the Durano plus would offer the best of both worlds?

I've been rolling with these on the road bikes for a few years now, and they are great for fast hassle free commuting.

Sure you'll get a faster lighter tyre, but these are still quick and ultimately very reliable.

Yep rode Durano S on my fast bike all last year 3000miles hassle free . These were in a 25c would run them on my fixed if they would fit! M+ are pretty bomb proof 25c size anyway but feedback is not great and very sketchy in the wet.

Armadillo, though not in 23, which tend to start disintegrating after 2,000 miles or so.

  5. Bought some 23's in August 2013 after having a horrendous time getting Gatorskins on/off my rear wheel to deal with frequent punctures.

Trouble-free riding ever since (two deflations overnight in all that time, but never once on the road).

    Great tyres.
