Thanks, I will investigate. I'm still updating the Love to Ride Scotland "Land's End to John O'Groats" challenge from a few years ago - so far I have cycled 6,970 of the ~1080 mile goal, which means that I have to scroll quite a long way out into the sea/void to find my bike avatar.

I just filled in my trips for 2015 so far and am now 2nd!

  4. The Cycling Scotland website clearly has a rude words filter.

One of my team mates is listed as David ****

I've just updated it with the last of the rides I expect to do in February. I am now currently 14 behind a character in a metal mask who I take to be jdanielp, who's managed two more rides than me. We do pretty much the same route every day, but he seems to have managed a couple of extra days!

I think I've spotted several other CCE people on the leaderboard. I know Hankchief is on it, but I'm glad he's not registered any trips yet, otherwise I'd be at 15 on the leaderboard, not 14...

And there's me down in 32nd. No idea who that bloke in the black jacket standing next to me is though.

I've now updated my journeys for the past week, which puts me just outside the top 20. Not bad going considering that there's only one truly leisure ride in there; all my other rides have been commuting or utility rides while on days off.

I recognise two or three names from my work, and that's about it.

@Greenroofer yes, that is me wearing the Helmet of Justice from Knightmare. In fact I missed a couple of day's commuting this month due to illness, but made up for that with jaunts on my Bike to Work 'commuter' MTB, and by trying a colleague's Brompton and a Heriot-Watt bike pool electric bike.

Though I might come back to this thread. Even though I forgot about the extension into March, I actually won a thing. All I need now are three people to help me use it and a day of uninterrupted sunshine.

  10. I won a set of lights :-)

I have not yet plucked up the courage to inform Mrs Bikeability that I will need to buy a new bike so I have somewhere to put them

I won a "Mac in a Sac" which I thought would be pretty decent having seen products on their website, but what arrived was merely a lilac RSP (Raleigh) Racer Jacket, although I haven't tried it yet so maybe it'll be ok.

Fellow colleagues won £20 and £100 Decathlon vouchers, respectively, but those turned into Evans vouchers...

I got a £20 Evans voucher, nice little surprise...

I got a picnic hamper. Which is handy as it can keep the 2 we got as wedding presents (& not used) company in the cupboard...

... on the plus side we have a wedding in the summer so the newlyweds will be getting a great present.

This may be ungrateful of me but I'd rather have had a dropped kerb put in the place of my choosing instead.

I got a Mac in a Sac too. Perfectly acceptable windproof jacket which packs down small, but not something I'd have bought myself.

I've decided to keep it in my desk at work. At the moment, all my outdoor clothes are in the bike changing room in the basement, so if there's a fire evacuation I inevitably end up outside in my shirtsleeves. This jacket will be useful to have to hand to keep me warm in those situations.

Surprisingly, because I never win anything ever, I received a £100 voucher for Evans Cycles. Three quarters of said voucher have duly been cashed in for a selection of bike bits and appropriate tools to fit them.

Mrs Mandopicker was a little disappointed it wasn't the £100 Decathlon voucher as she had her eye on some camping gear and had decided I ought to buy some new binoculars.

So do we know anyone who didn't win something?

Did anyone change their cycling habits?

I won nothing. But then, I didn't really fill it out after the first 15 journeys. It really needs to be integrated with Strava/Garmin Connect to get filled out automatically for me.
