Video to Mark Ronson's single 'The Bike Song', from the album 'Record Collection"
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Cruiser tandem @ c. 53s and avoids having to listen to Mark Ronson ;)
"avoids having to listen to Mark Ronson"
Volume=0 is always an option with YouTube...
One of my favourite ever songs from one of my favourite ever albums. I never realised it had a video based around a team pursuit at the Manchester Velodrome. That and some people in furry animal costumes.
The fact that their first 2 albums were called Domestiques and Peloton you'd think I would have gotten the "connection" quicker.
They have an obvious bike theme:
Yeah I followed the cleous like the Great Chief Inspector himself...
There's a band doing the Fife circuit at the moment called Val Verde. I assume they got their name from the unrepentant curly haired doper, but if that's the case I don't know whether there is anything more cycling-y about them.
Another suitably depressing yet pretty number from Murrawell's finest. A spot of cycle commuting in the first minute or so. No h*lm*t or "rubber knickers" in sight.
Salford, 1986 or Marchmont, 2011?
There's enough rattly old Raleighs, floppy fringes and faux-glasses to sink a hipster battleship.
Hello fellow Edinburgh cycling people.
As a 1st post (after a bit of lurking I must admit), please accept my offering of another classic from the 1980s.
Fake cycling, sirens, Ti Raleigh Creda, mushroom clouds - you can't go wrong really.
That's if I can work out how to embed it...
ooh, man on the right has me jumper on. Or I have his... Either way, two thumbs up!
Like the bit where roadies are scared of dancing women -must be an 80's stereotype...
Bah, I'm jealous! I look on ebay every couple of months for that jersey but never been successful.
@Jacksonpriest - well, technically mine is the Santini reproduction. Either way, I love it.
Hmmm, very nice Kaputnik. I haven't looked at Prenda's for a while - it's far too tempting. I've got the Bic replica which you can see beneath the picture of yours.
(not really "pop", but music. And cycling. And worth a watch!)

How do you do that embed thing?
How do you do that embed thing?
Paste in the link, but not in the URL BBtag
Something disagrees with me
Admin edit - don't use short code
No need for code - </iframe>
Now that is good toe tapping music :-)
Nice to see a city with so few cars as well, though I don't envy the singlespeed(?) "taxi" with the large passenger!
The velocar at about 1m55s is pretty cool too
The velo-velocar is my favourite part.
Here's a bit more
