    Hi All

I've got a hybrid bike (Dawes sonoran 2012) that has a broken rear freehub (pedals spinning rather than turning wheel). I've been told that it will cost c£40 to repair, and for that I'd get a new rear wheel with a working freehub in it (replacing the existing freehub in the current wheel would cost about the same).

I was wondering if anyone on the forum has a rear wheel or working freehub that would fit my bike they could sell me? I am trying to find a solution that will cost less than £40 (as the bike is only worth about £80).

Any help would be amazing, many thanks, James.

Rear Hub: Shimano RM60 36H according to the interweb. That might not be a hub that is sold separately. But if the wheel is only two years old I would suggest removing the freewheel body, spraying WD40 into it and dribbling oil through it to free up the pawls. Just remove the wheel, the skewer and the cassette and use a big hex key to unscrew the freewheel body. I say "just", you'll need tools.
