Documentary about the mighty Kraftwerk on tonight which may be of interest to a few people here.
(Wasn't sure which topic to put this under, but thought "Cycling News" was appropriate!)
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

I daresay Herr Kaputnik will be tuning in.
Frau Arellcat will be taping it because she's too busy with bicycles.
Excellent.
Just listening to Madness' "Riding on my bike", It's on the Rise and Fall bonus disc and was on the 12" of Driving in my car. Sung by Lee Thompson but Suggs likes bikes too.
At the time I was annoyed when Madness got all serious. Number 4 son (8) loves their serious songs. Rise and Fall is his second favourite album after The Liberty of Norton Folgate.
And yes, I'll snag the Kraftwerk off iPlayer. The memsahib is not a fan. Working on the boys.
Working on websites this evening I almost put on Autobahn but went for Quark, Strangeness and Charm instead. Middle daughter said "I thought you were going to put on music" and left the room.
Cool, just watched it, great gopram!
Saving this for tomorrow night. Should bring back happy memories of seeing them do Computer World in Amsterdam a couple of weeks ago. [/smugface]
There was me looking on Spotify for three bands called Quark, Strangeness and Charm. Never considered Hawkwind but I see where Gary Numan got his ideas.
And quite Bowie / John Foxx (is his early Ultravox! days)
Enjoyed that, but as with most things on Kraftwerk it underplayed/pretty much missed how much fun and humour there is in their music. Some great footage though - Pocket Calculator live from 1981!
Marc riley on radio six music, some folk just discovering this channel dedicated to John peel, plays an awful lot of hawk wind. Also the other week an awful lot of Gong.
