Does any one know of some phone apps/ websites like Strava or Endomondo to track kilometres traveled but is simpler to use or is able to do group challenges? It seems Strava doesn't allow you to do this. https://strava.zendesk.com/entries/23039922-Create-Group-or-Club-Challenges

@i
Call your group 'Sword of Jihad' and GCHQ will track your kilometers for you, even with your phone turned off.

^ oh-oh. You've gone and done it now. I'd just like to say anyone who might be listening that I don't know anyone on this forum. Nor do I share any of their religious/political beliefs.

I always thought IWRATS was a bit dodgy, myself.
Hypothetically. Having never met him. Or interacted with him online.
Your honour.

With the added bonus that if you suffer a mechanical problem far from home it won't take long for the unmarked helicopter to rescue you.

Then I can use a FOI request to find out how many kilometers travelled. I couldn't have thought of a simpler system myself!
Any other options? Just in case...

Do you want it to add up the sum total of all members of the group? I don't think Strava is any good as its designed to place rider against rider. There are groups but these are just subsets of everyone on Strava.
I don't use any other software.
You could just add up the totals of the group?

Strava already automatically adds up everyone in a group's weekly mileage and resets on a Sunday night. Not exactly what you want but it might do for a bit of interest.
I would have thought it would be a piece of cake for Strava to add a group challenge like you are requesting; all that would really need doing is to change the length of time rides are collated from a week to whatever range was wanted. No idea why they don't do this as there seems to be plenty people out there interested in it.
