Our office manager found one on the way into the office this morning. Thistle Street. Rattled off by cobbles I imagine. Looks none the worse for its adventure.

If you are or know the owner, let me know. If you just fancy the gizmo, give it a week and if there's no takers you can have it. Otherwise it'll go in my desk drawer and sit there until the battery runs out or I retire, whichever comes first.

@insto - I lost my cycle computer - a Cateye velo 7, but I think I lost it in Swanage, so Thistle Street is a bit of a stretch, but if you haven't retired in a week's time and nobody else wants it, there is a lonesome looking Cateye cradle on my bike…

OK. Sounds like reasonable Karma. If no takers I'll let you know.

@insto - ta. I should be put low on the priority list - mine was quite new and so I only lost a few hundred miles, and my average speed was an embarrassment.

Can you look at the latest video to see where they work/live, or is that an invasion of privacy? I think I'd rather someone did watch it, if I'd lost my camera.

It's not a camera. Just a little speedo, trip computer type of thing. I can tell you their last journey took 17 minutes to travel 1.63 miles giving an average speed of 5.7mph and a maximum speed of 12.7mph. They've covered a total of 1,420 miles.

I guess that narrows them down to someone who lives nearby. I guess near Haymarket. But then maybe they got off a train at Haymarket.

If this was CSI they would be banging on the owner's door by now.
