They've done a repair to the road just by Tynecastle - nice new tarmac but they have not put the red lanes back. ..

Not much better on the other side of town either...... Foot of the Walk, Constitution St, Duke Street, Great Junction Street and the Coburg St end of Ferry road are all best avoided just now as well. Miserable time to be driving in Edinburgh

I can confirm that they've resurfaced the road and replaced the 'red chip' cycle lanes with...
black chips!
Total shambles.

No road markings either. Edinburgh appears to have separated the tasks of laying a road and painting markings to such an extent it can take weeks or months for the painting gang to follow on from the surface layers.
