Gorgie Road repair

    They've done a repair to the road just by Tynecastle - nice new tarmac but they have not put the red lanes back. ..

    I can confirm that they've resurfaced the road and replaced the 'red chip' cycle lanes with...

    black chips!

    Total shambles.

    No road markings either. Edinburgh appears to have separated the tasks of laying a road and painting markings to such an extent it can take weeks or months for the painting gang to follow on from the surface layers.
