Cyclist killed in Fife

    Another needless tragedy on another fast, rural A-road with no "facility" of any kind whatsoever to give even a modicum of safety to a cyclist and with no obvious paralell (or remotely paralell) traffic free (or even low-traffic) alternative.

    His family said: "David was a much loved son and father. He will be hugely missed by family and friends."

    I don't know why but this seems right out of the "sentient beings" rulebook. Like he died after a protracted illness or something.

    The STV article has slightly more information about accidents on that same road and the hint that something should be done.

    Still the quote "his bike collided with a silver Vauxhall Corsa". If only!
