  1. Well it only seems like a week ago....

I 'think' the next piece is on tonight, filmed while I was on my hols. Covering Dr Neil's Garden, and the wee bit of sporting history it contains (as well as some art history alongside Duddingston Loch). Indebted to Jim Baird, the lovely chap who is the chair of the trust that looks after the garden.

Not entirely sure when I'm going to be able to do more - back to work, and no holidays, nor flexi, available, and filming tends to be 9-5 Mon-Fri.... Which is a bit of a pain. Been asked if I could do something for the wildlife show CitySafari as well, and they're keen on foxes - couldn't really be more tailor made. Have offered to do something at next week's Cyclefest, which is at least a weekend gig.

Hmm, had a wee look but didn't see it. I think you got dumped for the magician.

  3. Little later in than usual, and I think cos they edited it much longer - got about 5 minutes, whereas the last one was cut down to about half that length!

16 minutes in, just after a cooking bit...

Ah, we gave in quite quickly. Will try on the STV player.

Had a quick look while drinking a coffee there. A very enjoyable section and you come across very well. Needs more actual cycling and speaking ;)

Not sure why but on my I player mostly was soundtrack with some still images. Still interesting. Note the side bar had piece about our favourite portobello beach piano man but i did not watch that.

  7. That's a bit odd gembo!

Next up, Bum the Dog. Yes, really. Will have enough material for a series soon... ;)

  9. You'll get bored of these - have just done a film about Bum the Dog in my lunch hour. Now that was a challenge.

Suggest the doocot next, so that you can explain how it's very handy for both the shops and the zoo and can be easily-reached upon a bicycle using Simon Parker International Cycle Network routes R2 and G22.

  11. Bum the Dog makes it onto tonight's show, from 7pm on STV Edinburgh. Apparently compliance have had a field day with the number of times 'Bum' is used, and especially my closing sort-of-pun of getting to the bottom of Bum. So we'll see how much makes the cut....

Oh, and it was really windy, so my hair might be quite extravagant.

First one I have seen properly as STV player always just jumps around all over the place and throws adverts at you if you try to stop it. Never noticed that about the missing leg!
