Increase levels of cycling to 10% of trips by 2025 and 25% by 2050.

    Funding.
An average government spend of at least £10 per person per year on cycling.

    Design standards.
Create consistently high design standards for cycling in all highway and traffic schemes, new developments and planned road maintenance work.

    Safety.
Measures to improve cycle safety by strengthening road traffic law and its enforcement and revising the Highway Code.

    Positive promotion.
Support positive promotion of cycling, including cycle skills training, for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

Have sent this off for all Edinburgh South, customising the email to ian Murray, as I know he has supported some of these in the past.

Doesn't look like any have responded to a previous person, as all were unknown status

Vote with bikes? How about getting pedicabs out to shift voters to the Polls - and indeed out on the canvassing trail - pedicab or cargo bike laden with leaflets is neat way to get deliveries close to doorsteps, and with banners can be a neat promotional tool.

Miles Briggs has been working hard to deliver a better deal for Edinburgh South. These are just some of the local campaigns he has been working on.

    ...

Fighting for investment in local roads, pavements and the cycle route network

    ...

Campaigning for the re-opening of the South Suburban Railway
