Inconsiderate Mountain Biker

This is my wife's experience this afternoon.

Had a lovely walk in the pentlands with the family. Only yelled at one mountain biker who flew through a stream soaking everyone crossing, thankfully the kids missed the shower. Unfortunately the neanderthal thought it was all hilarious and his "Apology" was decidedly questionable. All the others we encountered were nice and considerate /friendly, such a shame one spoils the reputation of other.

Whoever it was should be ashamed of themselves.

    Hi mike3legs

Sorry to hear about this. I was out rolling Easter eggs en famille, in pentlands on Sunday and hordes of mountain bikers all thanking us for stepping out of their way. I was happy to hold gates open for them, everyone getting along famously.

Just takes one daftie to spoil the day. Hope the sunshine helped.

Not me but over on the presumed liability thread some posters might want to know what actions the pedestrians took to avoid being soaked. :-)

Mountain bikers are rockers, roadies are mods. Discuss.

A chicane in the middle of the watercourse is the obvious solution. Perhaps we should write a strongly worded letter to Spokes and ask the council for a secret meeting?

Mountain bikers are rockers, roadies are mods, tourers are folkies, tourers in groups are choral.

Pedalling on Parliament is a haka. We're the cycling warriors.
