So... Anyone fancy joining me at the top of the innocent tomorrow morning? Alternate venues acceptable!

Good plan. The weather's glorious, but numbers of cyclists are lower than January!

Can anyone leaflet the pollack halls racks? And other residences?

I have lots of A4 posters and laminated posters too.

Normally I'd have stuck my hand up by now but am about to head north for a week that will be even busier than the weeks already spent preparing for it. Not sure that I'll be back in time to join in on Saturday either :(

Does anyone know where I can get handlebar flyers? My office printer only prints single sided :-( I've been writing the url on the back!

@Fimm can you refeed in the printed sheets and then print the next page? It's a bit of a faff but less faff than writing the URL by hand...

That sounds like a lot of faff.
SRD is very kindly going to bring me some.

Following on from Alex's success with the commuting crowd, I'm going to try my luck with the weekend traffic.

Me and the little chiefs will be on the NEPN and Cramond Prom tomorrow morning. Not sure how much flyering they will take so it's all a bit vague but I hope to be at Craigleith at 10am and we'll take it from there.

Say hi if you're passing and if you can spare a few minutes to help entertain the kids that would be ace.

If someone could supply me with some materials I could do some flyering at one/all of these locations as part of my trip to work:

    - Balgreen chicane
    - west side of Roseburn Park
    - canal at the Lift Bridge

    Thanks Stickman.

If you PM me your address I'll drop some off in the morning (Although I think I can guess given where you were emerging from when you spotted me)

Ok I will do some on Mon. When I did it in previous years there were lots of racks to go round so took me ages, so might not get to all of them but will try.

I do remember that Aegon had tons of bikes in their racks, but I couldn't get to them without feeling like I was going to be accosted by security.

May be in London this week - so I'll remember to grab some from Siempre or The Bike Station.

Might end up riding through with a trailer, so I can carry a banner.

Due to the uncertainty factor (4hr or ?) I guess I'd better not offer my services to Alex R in the day.

Based on last year, I'd hope to draft a peloton up the hill at Airdrie for a bit of one happens to be passing.

Had a really good time at Craigleith this morning. We managed a couple of hours of flyering without the kids getting run over or too bored.

Lots of people hadn't heard of POP but all were very supportive.

Probably 150 flyers have gone out to potential new recruits.

Anyone able to spare some time tomorrow to do the same again?

That's fab, but there are no laminated posters anywhere from Russell road on down the NEPN, at least as far as Boswall drive. Does anyone have any they can put up?

I can try and get some laminated tomorrow if need be, but I'm all out at the moment.

Ok the roseburn path all the way to 5 way junction and then up to the Cannonmills Tesco has been chalked and postered.

Completely out of chalk. Will grab some more from you when I get back Sara.

Flyering of the innocent now planned for Thursday morning early Am if anyone wants to join!

Posters now up in Roseburn Park and at Pinkhill. Also spoke to a woman escorting two immaculately mannered children on bikes. She hadn't heard of PoP but was very interested, especially it being child friendly.

Took the long way into work and checked and in some cases re-chalked the paths. I wish I'd kept more of the pavement chalk I gave to Mr SRD (I thought I had far too much)! I have enough for now, but I'll have a look and see if I can get some more for next year.

Also flyered the bikes at the Commie Pool either side of swimming last night.

Looking good. Has the running order been published anywhere so we can read it in advance?
