I've got one & I think it is ok for a commuting bike. The light is accepatble, although not eye-searingly bright. Battery life isn't fantastic if you regard it as just a light, but as it is a camera that is understandable .The camera is a good standard for what it is there to do. It ain't perfect & I wouldn't have paid £179 for it (kickstarter). The main advantage is that it just sits on the bike at all times and does its job.

@ARobComp did you get one? Any thoughts?

I never did get around to getting one. I got a go pro hero for my outdoor adventures. Maybe need to think about it again with some of the driving I'm seeing while out at the weekends.

Thanks Guys, Been thinking about getting one, I've got a Go Pro Hero 5 Black mounted on my helmet but the addition on a rear aux Camera sounds nice. But not at the expense of a brighter rear light!

    Just came across this: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/hexagon-camera-signals-sensors-for-cyclists-bike-gadgets#/updates

But finished its funding round and not sure about the bulk of it!

I have one, and I like it. The most annoying thing is the integrated battery - battery life was ~5h initially, but gradually decreased until it was ~45 minutes after two years.

I replaced the battery (following this guide: http://www.dragonflydiy.com/2017/04/easy-repair-cycliq-fly6-battery.html ) and it's good as new.

@ Frenchy - lets talk. my battery lasts about 15-30 mins, which is annoying as it is/was great.

I looked at a couple of 'how to' sites, but gave up once I read the battery can be a little 'explodey'.

All I can say is that I haven't had a battery explode on me. Yet, anyway...

I also have an extra battery and a soldering iron, if you would like, I'm happy to pass on the battery or try and replace yours for you.

@Frenchy & @Iain McR dose is the footage decent?

What about the brightness/visibility of the light?

    Batteries die, they're like people!

Thanks, @Iain McR (sorry about the auto-Correct!)

Was thinking about the light combined with a helmet light might be ok?

Footage seems good, I've not used many cameras to be able to properly compare.

The light is excellent - the brighter settings are actually too bright for my liking.

Thanks @Frenchy and good to chat briefly last night @ Spokes Meeting. Also interesting that Dom is using the Fly6 and 12 for OppClosePass so If its good enough for Police Scotland!

Its currently on at £119 on Wiggle were I get cashback. I've signed up to the mailing list, Liked them on Facebook and Googled it a few times so a Discount Offer should hit my Advertising stream any day now!
