Also, and perhaps a bit more troubling he has issues with "meddling elected representatives".
After PoP, PS and I had a chat about the councillors and how Lesley and Andrew generally make all the right/sympathetic noises but the unelected/corporate side of the council don't seem to follow through on the ground.
Perhaps we've all taken it wrong - or the EEN is misrepresenting his presentation, which they don't publish alongside the article - but Mr Ward is possibly in the wrong sort of employ if he doesn't like the idea of the elected body "meddling" in his work.
