Route through Duddingston Golf Course

    I have often been through to Milton Road via Cavalry Park Drive, but never this way -

    I imagine it's 'legal' - though there are attempts to restrict access at Ratho close to the club house.

    Is it a 'viable' route - in the sense of being concerned about being hit by golf balls!?

    When I was small the presence of an interloping golf course atop the Viking Way along the former route of the railway between Woodhall Spa and Horncastle didn't stop us from cycling, walking and running along it. The same type of stare employed to request drivers not to drive cars into you can also be applied to golfsters and their balls.
