    Hi there,

I’m new to this forum and I am after some advice please.
I don’t live in Edinburgh, but my girlfriend does and I am thinking of re-locating to your city.

Could anyone help me in terms of job hunting? Are there any job agencies or websites that anyone recommends? Are the local papers (Scotsman, Ed Evening News) any good for jobs?

Or conversely, does anyone have any knowledge of any employment opportunities happening within any sector within the city?

I currently work in the public sector in England and am exploring the possibility of a transfer, but if thats not possible I will be looking for anther job so I can move to Edinburgh.

    Thanks for reading,

    Bob

City of Edinburgh Council job adverts that I am aware of tend to go through the MyJobScotland website these days.

Hi Bob, financial and education sectors large here.

Try agencies but you will need to be more specific about your requirements, lots of jobs advertised on S1jobs.

    Good luck

Perfect timing! The market is good right now. S1jobs, Scotsman Jobs and all the usual agencies will give you a good idea of what's available.
