It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

I just received this safety notice from Islabikes regarding Cnoc 14 and 16 bikes and frame problems caused by 'extreme usage'

@biketrain, just tried to pm you about the one you bought from me. I'm not sure if I did it right, so please let me know if you've not got it.
We got the notice too, although the 14 and the 16 are both in the loft awaiting my youngest.
Having seen an ~8 year old mucking around on a cnoc 16 recently I suspect some people maybe don't pay attention to the weight limits, and an older child might be more 'adventurous' with the bike. Pseudo bmx thrills?
I expect an islabike will take more abuse than a cheapo alternative but nothing is indestructible.
A 15kg rider has been recently been riding his Cnoc 14 on more cobbles than usual, so I might contact them to see if they just tell me to avoid cobbles.
