A colleague has come in this morning with a wrist fractured in 2 places after a car pulled out on her yesterday afternoon on London Road.

She's had a fright and is grateful she isn't more hurt. Seems the guy got out and said the sun was in his eyes and he didn't see her. She did get his registration plate but nothing else. She didn't realise she was injured until someone from a nearby office had taken her in for a cup of tea and biscuit and she realised she couldn't pick up her tea.

I've given her details of this forum in case she needs any advice.

The registration plate will be enough for the police, who should be informed if they don't know about it already. With a verifiable injury they might even do something.

Thanks folks - she spoke to the police last night who are following up on things. I've passed her details of that thread chdot as well. Her bike doesn't appear to be damaged - just her hand.
