    Looks like the results of this study will confirm what we already know: crap infrastructure.

  2. Or, to rephrase the question, "Why do some people break the law?"

    The question suggests that in other aspects of life no-one breaks the law, or that cyclists are somehow unusually high in their law breaking (which, granted, some people do believe).

    Wonder if this survey will be able to prove otherwise - or provide 'justifications'.

  4. I suspect the latter. A better focus would have been to see if they are more or less likely to break the law than fellow road users. All you need to do is slip in a question for motorists about 20mph zones and you'll get a 95% law-breaking stat (which is the basis for my real annoyance at anyone saying 'cyclists don't think the rules of the road apply to them').
