Hello, If anyone could lend a child's bike seat for a few days starting the 18th or 19th, for our friends' 3-year-old daughter while they come to visit us, that would be a great help. I've got spare helmets already, but we gave away the seat when our son outgrew it. Thanks!

Do you have a Blackburn rack? I have a spare CoPilot.

I have a down tube fitting seat you can borrow if you don't have a Blackburn rack, although logistics of getting it to you may be more tricky.

I can spare a Hamax Kiss which does up to 22kg. It's a down tube fitting type. Could bring it into work near the Pleasance or it can be picked up from home in Davidsons Mains area.

Yes, I have a Blackburn MTN rack, and that would be awesome! Haven't used a Copilot seat before, but I take it it's compatible with Blackburns? Thanks!

needs blackburn EX1

Or EX2. The central belt thing on the MTN blocks the front prong from clipping under the front lip.
I'll see how ensnared in dynamo wires the EX1 on my sparebike is - should be able to get it free over the weekend. The bike isn't going anywhere soon as its drivetrain has rusted solid since being shut in the shed after being used daily throughout the winter.

@wingpig.
Ah, I see. Thanks. If it's a hassle, don't worry, I can take Davidsons Dave up his offer--I'm not far from there.Posted 9 years ago # -
Thanks to everyone. I think I've got a seat to borrow for our friends next week.
