    and if you never dismount*, you will be immortal.

    *Would never work in the UK - too many 'Cyclist dismount' (sic) signs.

    So ..... cycling slowly is better for you than cycling fast as you spend more time on the bike. Hurrah! Now I can feel happy when I'm pootling along and get overtaken by all and sundry.
