just wanted to promote a local business - mainly on account of seriously impressive cargo bike and trailer use. The Bearded Barista does coffee on Crichton Place outside the Informatics Forum - I am no coffee expert, but I think it's good. He's a nice bloke - carries everything including water on a cargo bike, plus a carry freedom trailer with no pedal assist… it's a really good advert for what is possible by bike.

That sounds like hipster full-house to me! Next time I'm in the area I will look around for bike-based-coffee.

There is also the Brazilian juice bike guy. He sells crepes from a polis box on Lauriston Place. The cargo bike is often to be seen outside the commie pool of a morning.
It has a horn made out of a rubber chicken. I love it.

Thanks for the heads up! Sounds well worth checking out.
Mind you I'd advise fellow faint-hearted bikeists to avoid Crichton Street itself just now - the annual invasion of festive HGVs is getting underway, not to mention the festive one way system which half the drivers ignore, the closed pavements which force festive pedestrians onto the road, the pot-holes, etc.
But Mr Barista was only a few metres from Potterrow last time I saw him so that shouldn't be a problem.
