Can anyone suggest an occasion when Essential Edinburgh has been involved in anything which could be regarded as pretty good - by anyone for any reason?

Woz it them wot done the re-opening and landscaping of St. Andrew Square garden (and then trash it twice a year, every year). I suppose 1 good is outdone by so many doubleplusungoods.

Essential Edinburgh produce a lot of statistics on footfall/ how much people spend/ parking spaces etc.
These can be useful for campaigning matters, particularly as they tend to support statements like 'reducing traffic on George street has led to footfall there growing faster than in other parts of the city'.
So I like the part of their operation that is about collecting data.
