I mentioned in a thread a while back that I was going to knock up a poster to put up in my stair to remind bicyclists to park their bikes sensibly if they insist on using the stairwell as a bike rack.

Well after a bit of inspiration I've come up with design #1. I've tried to be tasteful, polite and eye-catching without looking like a "thou shalt not" warning sign. I'd certainly appreciate some feedback from the expert CCE panel.

For those interested, the frame is a 1951 René Herse (which means nothing to me, but it looked nice when I googled for images of bikes for inspiration)

    Great

    Should work

Missing chain looks a bit odd

Thanks! transmission can be added! I just didn't like it obscuring the teeth of the cogs. Maybe I'll put it in low gear?

Grey on pink at the bottom is a bit hard to read.

(2008 MacBook, Snow Leopard, I haven't footered with the gamma).

I like it, because it's not too officious. I agree on the text at the bottom, otherwise go for it.

Whether it will have any affect at all is another matter!

also like the grey text at the bottom as it is not the important part and will make those that bother to read it chuckle

  7. Love it. Though I'm with Folder and Dave, the text at the bottom doesn't need to be black, just a little stronger. And I don't mind the missing chain...
