Any one know when the road round Arthurs Seat shuts for the winter evenings?

Arthurs Seat opening hours

I can't remember the last time I saw it closed on a weekday evening. It was open at well past eleven one day last week and after ten last night, though there are a few cones loitering around the downhill side of the bottom gate which might signify something...

It was around this time last year my "training" ride round Arthurs Seat was curtailed last year just wondered exactly when this happened.

The hill road is meant to be closed at dusk. Objective is to stop cars racing round and ending up in loch (as has happened in past).
As you will all know I think hill road should be closed most of the time with park minibus service for those who are unable to walk up.
Barrier of course should allow bikes through for training runs.

Nope managed to haul my fat ass round though a ERC roady danced up passed me at the steepest bit much to my embarrassment as i nearly left a lung on the road...
Riddle me this, where is the worst place to get a puncture. When belting down the steep bit of Arthurs seat!
Dunno what happened but my tyre got very soft but not flat, managed to limp back to the office where some kind soul has left a track pump. Spent twenty minutes adjusting it for presta after a fight realised it was never going to get my tyre over 80psi limped home had to walk the last mile as it was getting very squirely.
