Close - it comes from Gogarbank, on the other side of the A8 - the weather station is within the grounds of the Scottish Agricultural Sciences site at Roddinglaw.
For inside the town you can probably bolt a couple of degrees onto whatever temperature it is reporting.
I've resolved to hang the trackmitts up after this morning's excruciating pain in my fingers. I'm glad I took the singlespeed and wasn't trying to change gears. Full fingers and merino liners as of tomorrow!
2° when I left at 07:50.
Still wore the shorts, had long sleeves on and full finger gloves, suppose I might need the wee skull cap to add warmth to the bald bonce but not quite yet, my ears were not painful
