When the new social housing was built at Westfield Ave, the contractors dug up the footpath here so they could install their container-based mess huts:
I always imagined/hoped/believed they would reinstate it. But they never did, they only left it as this sorry mess.
There is a parallel path, but it runs right in front of peoples' front doors. It would be much better to have this old path reinstated so that cycles and peds could scoot around the outside of the car park, avoiding conflict with householders
