I'm on the bus today but there was a cyclist being treated by a motorcycle paramedic on Oxgangs Road North at the junction with Ogamgs Farm Road. The cyclist was kneeling for treatment so hoping nothing major.

I didn't see what happened so can't comment on the cause.

    Just hope they are alright.

I can at least confirm that I wasn't that cyclist. I was quite early today so missed it entirely. Hope they're OK.

If it was Oxgangs Farm Drive (not Road) then the traffic is fairly belting down the hill at that point. It's a wide junction but awkward. A right turn to go up the hill, for example, is hard work.

I normally go along the path next to the Braidburn and avoid Oxgangs/Colinton for that very reason. Colinton Mains is a death trap. I just have to deal with the schools drop-offs snd poor driving/parking in Oxgangs Road North at the 4 schools bit.
