Advance warning that various roads around Murrayfield will be closed tomorrow afternoon/evening for the Foo Fighters concert. If previous events are a guide, expect lots of traffic and pedestrians, particularly people walking into the road at Haymarket!

Add in the next round of roadworks starting at St John's Road and it's a recipe for a "traffic chaos" article in the Evening News.

Ah, that will be what the sign about a "queuing system 8th September" at Haymarket was about...

Ohh good spot. I need to check on this as I head out cycling (use car to reach the route) on Tuesday evenings.

It's getting very busy with people coming out of Haymarket and walking along to Murrayfield. Quite a few people walking into the road without looking.

Spectacular bit of motorbike handling outside the station. The rider was going slowly as there was a bloke (probably drunk) weaving across the road. Drunk bloke managed to change direction very quickly right into the motorbike's path, but the rider managed to swerve and avoid him. Top skills - i'm not sure I'd have managed that on the bike.

I forgot about the music performance and went Dalry/Murieston/Russel, but bicycles were being permitted through the Road Closed signs to the NEPN slope/coach park.
