  1. Is tempting... Will be leaving at a different time from my better half tomorrow as she's off to a course. AND gives me an excuse to spend a bit of time staring at the trees in the park looking for Waxwings.

    I'm a 90% chance.

AS in tomrrow, yes. I'll be there anyway doing some bike and bird spotting. Consider it an open invite to join me!

Keep having these and eventually I'll be organised early enough to make it along.

  5. Small gathering it was this morning, but pleasant company. Kaputnik, Min, Stepdoh and (briefly) Arellcat. Much talk of poor cycling provision and the strong wind making waxwing spotting unlikely.

Mmm, sorry about that. Who organises a meeting for 9am on a Friday? :-(

Yes I expect the Waxwings have been blown back to Sweden by now. I know I almost was. Bloomin' 'eck.

Sorry, think my tardy arrival pushed it into the playing hooky territory :)

  13. S'not fair!

No reports in Edinburgh today yet (from my usual source at least, the LothianBirdNews Yahoo group), but yesterday there were a lot at Blackhall, which is a mere 5 minutes ride from here...
