    More cycling kit from Aldi - new for this year is the turbo trainer.

    Other kit seems higher priced than Lidl's so might actually fit!

    Also stuff is quite good. I will go for socks, arm warmers and try not to buy stuff I do not need.

    Aldi's kit has improved for sure, probably why they can justify the higher prices compared to the recent Lidl offer.

    Anyone have experience of the toolkit? Looks rather like the toolkits on sale at Planet X...

    Thanks for the alert Mandopicker. I might get some waterproof socks. Have to be better than wrapping my feet in tin-foil for those long winter rides.

    I bought their waterproof socks last winter. They are good. No merino in them but half the price of sealskins. Inside these three layer waterproof items, all of them, dear or cheap, is a poly bag.a sock shaper polybag.

    Dunfermline Aldi:

    i got the last Garmin Edge 500 at £79 at around 8am today

    they had four in stock at 7am

  7. Quite fancied a merino top, but I'm sure that by the time I cycled to Musselburgh after work there'd probably be none (or no XL size) left.
