IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

"He was hit by a Mazda 3"
Pretty unequivocal description there. Suspect that will be changed sharpish.
Hope the guy is ok.
Motorists frequently leap out into the road as I pass that particular junction (Oxford Terrace / Dean Park Cresc)
Needs a "no right turn" restriction, frankly
This is the spot where my husband was seriously injured after being knocked off his bike 3 years ago and has numerous close calls since, travelling in both directions. Sadly this stretch of the road is excluded from the 20mph program.
Wishing the cyclist a complete and speedy recovery.
Heading past this junction toward Dean Bridge its vital to take the lane here and ignore the cycle lane.
Not a popular move unless picking up speed, but it does deter the junction jumpers.
He was heading in the other direction when he was knocked off. He'd come over Dean Bridge and was travelling at about 25mph and keeping primary as he was going to turn right into Dean Park Crescent, when he was overtaken by the driver of a Stagecoach bus who pulled in too soon.
Edited to add: This refers to my husbands accident, I don't know the circumstances of yestrdays accident
