"Assault victim wins battle to boost underpass security"

I cycle near here, but not through that underpass. I do walk through the underpass every so often, as I live in Baberton and to get to Westside Plaza, you use that underpass. However, I'm always careful of it, because once you're in it, you're in a sealed tunnel with only two exits, ahead and behind. Also, a friend of mine was attacked while walking there, and had her arm broken, and was threatened with being stabbed with a syringe. I'd advise great care whilst using that underpass.
