The perfect clickbait storm - Lesley Hinds writing about cycling.
I admire Lester Bongs for his/her patience with the trolls on EEN. I wouldn't have the energy to even try to engage with them. The results of the Sustrans survey are interesting, because they do allow the response to all the negativity to be 'you may not like this, but the majority of people in Edinburgh do'.
...although I suppose the trolls might respond that they were never consulted about it...

It's grimly addictive reading the comments.
Favourite tonight: 450 people killed in incidents with vehicles, 5 by bikes. This stat "proves" that the cyclists must have been more reckless than any drivers, so the police should focus on dangerous cyclists.
In a way, that has a certain genius stupidity to it.
