    Longshot possibly, but I figured if there was anywhere I could get info on availability of bike parking at the above then here would be it.

    Anyone any experience?

    Also, I'm guessing the best way to get there from Leith would be up the Ferry Rd path and off at Russel Rd then up Harrison Pk?

    @theboy I live not far from there and that would be my route if heading to leith...(in reverse of course)

    Harrison road then gills land to spy law would be most forgiving/pleasant.

    Sort of depends which part of Leith. If more the west side then yes, as described above. But if eastern part of Leith, I'd probably go up Easter Road and into the park at Holyrood, then through the Meadows and Bruntsfield Links.

    Plenty of bike parking - but it is usually full to overflowing, with every available handrail/railing also occupied during term time.

    By way of contrast, here's the main bike park at the Garthdee campus of Robert Gordon's University in Aberdeen in term time. It's slightly out of town on the river Dee, not far from the cycle path on the old Deeside railway line.

    Those lockers in the background are perfect for storing tumbleweed.

    I can see it.

    Maybe your 'system' is blocking it?

    @fimm

    How's that? I'm new to the whole image thing - suspect I got a bit giddy.

    Oh, I can see it now. How puzzling.
    I propose a CCE expedition to Aberdeen to remove some of those bike stands to somewhere they might be used - like Haymarket.

    Cheers for the replies. Was worried someone was going to tell me that the bike parking gets very full up seeing as I don't need to be there till 1230. if needs be I'll just make double sure not to chain my bike to someone else's :D.
