    Lothian Larder has recently opened
I cycled past it today & didn't even notice it. Pity. I could really have done with some cake at that juncture.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a cafe in Falkland? I may be damp by the time I arrive so cycling friendly cafe would be preferred (when is it not?).

Pillars of Hercules is rather nice, though quite expensive

Thanks, they do look nice. I'll take a look and hope there is space by the fire.

Stopped by Cairn O Mhor winery (in the car) but spotted that they have a track pump by their bike rail to assist any unfortunate riders who need it.

The church in Appletreewick in Wharfedale has bike racks. Lot of cycling in Wharfedale as good roads and few cars if you find the right roads.

Looks like the Macfie Hall pop-up cafe in Heriot is opening for the summer again shortly:

    "Hello

Please let your members know that our Sunday community café in Heriot is re-opening for the summer from Sunday 7 May 2023. It’s a perfect stop for all cyclists on their Sunday ride on the scenic B709 Innerleithen to Heriot road.

The café will be open every Sunday in the Macfie Village Hall, Heriot between 10 am and 2 pm, serving coffee, tea, breakfast rolls, cakes, scones, soups and toasties. The café will be open throughout the summer and we would love to welcome cyclists from your club. "
