For those who will be in London in the next few months this looks interesting:

Part of the exhibition is profiles of independent bike builders, including Shand. Also one that I've been reading about, Hartley Cycles. She's a jeweller/silversmith who has started building some really lovely looking bikes. Not sure how practical they will be (sterling silver details!) but they look great. I'm now trying to persuade my wife (also a silversmith) to build me a bike but she says it's not quite that simple ;-)

I was a bit annoyed to find out when I turned up at the design museum yesterday that this doesn't open until next week, and speaking to the staff on the desk, I'm not the only one who got confused by the website.

I did however enjoy the Designs of the Year 2015 exhibition, plus the Cosmonauts one at the Science museum. (Alas, I didn't see your message in time Gembo)

Looks like it will still be on when I am in London. In February. Just need to check the cLANGERS one now

Whoof as Archie McPherson would say, not on until March 2016? How do I know about it now? V and A MUSEUM OF CHILDHOOD?
