It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

If anyone is looking for a bargain commuter bike pop into the TK Maxx at Meadowbank. They currently have 3 Foffa bikes in stock at £250 which is half price RRP. Spec is 7 speed hub gear similar to this:

Had a quick peer at them yesterday. I think the £250 one is the singlespeed (RRP£375) and the RRP£500 7-speed Nexus is £375. Quill stem, though. Also silly rims on one of the stock examples.
Tempting as a replacement for my maintenance-hungry heavy spare (and/or unbuilt potential singlespeed-convertible alternative spare) but a Pompino frame is only £130, would use up lots of my excess components and could take 30mm spikes and mudguards.
Foffa themselves knocking 30 per cent off these bikes. Facebook has told me in a sidebar. I liked the black nexus seven
