Saw this on twitter via @BruntsfieldMinx & @SRD and had a look at the Bruntsfield/Morningside one. It is mostly about shop frontages and use classes, but there is some talk of needing to redevelop the Holy Corner junction, which would be nice, as it is pretty car-centric at the moment.
"Opportunity sites within the town centre boundary
Site A – Holy Corner Junction (Map 1)
This junction is located within the town centre boundary and presents a barrier to pedestrian movement between Brunts eld and Morningside. As part of the ‘Public Life Assessment’, it is intended to observe and consult people using the junction, as it is considered that improvements are needed for both cyclists and pedestrians. Currently there are six pedestrian crossing segments within this junction, and it is often unclear who’s right of way it is. "
There are also a few other redevelopment sites identified, mostly infill housing. The plans also show a LDP safeguarded cycle route through the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, and a quite route that I don't think is signed yet, but will check.
Not had a detailed look at the Leith one, but it seems similar.
