Pedestrian killed on Drum Brae Drive

    Very sad. Happened at 10.30 on Saturday night.

    Yet another reminder we need a 20mph limit and for it to apply at all hours of the day.

    Unfortunately, this was my partners Uncle.
    Tragic loss of life but nobody knows if speed was an issue (without the obvious zero speed-zero damage argument).
    He had just stepped off a bus and he was about 10 yards away from a crossing.
    Regardless, at this moment it's being looked upon as a tragic accident, nothing more.

    SpeedyG - I know him too. He was a great guy and renowned for his friendliness. Really feel sorry for his family at this terrible time.
