What do you call the type of screw used to attach the adjustable foot cups in the Co Pilot Limo child seat? I need to find a replacement
I have the foot cup, but have lost the screw.

can't see from the picture, assume it's some form of machine screw (i.e. a screw threaded to accept a nut or to be driven into a tapped hole. Or put another way, a bolt with a screw head!)
I'd assume that any suitable length and diameter bolt out the spares box with a few washers in the right place would do a similar job. Any reasonable LBS shop would I'm sure have one for free / donation to their tips jar.

it's hard to see from the picture. What's special about it? If it's just a bolt of a certain length and diameter, I probably have something that will fit - it looks very roughly like it might be something like an M6x40 but that's a total blind guess..

bit like in Ask The Family, they would show a familiar item from an odd angle and then zoom out. Robert Robinson not in Yewtree. No Way.
I would take the footplate with me to the shop?

Hahahaha
It's basically like a mini quick release skewer- screw to tighten and push the lever down to lock, for adjusting the height of the foot rest.

Cam bolt. You can use a normal (probably M5/4) bolt and nut to replace it (but without the quick adjustability) or get a cam bolt from somewhere online. Can't remember the name of the place where I got some recently to fix the handlebars on the buggy but it had both cam bolts and cam nuts, of which the latter were much cheaper.

I can see why it would be called a cam bolt, but a cam bolt is also the thing you get in flatpack furniture to tighten the butt joints / dowels together - make sure you get the right sort if you go for this option.

A cam bolt is what i guessed it would be called but searching on google only turned up the flat pack thing.

Have you lost just the screw, or the whole assembly including screw and black plastic?
If just the screw then, as suggested, there's probably nothing special about - any bolt/screw that matches the thread (a captive barrel nut I'd guess) on the black bit will do, hacksaw to length.
If you've lost the black bit as well then I guess you either need to pay for the proper spare or make do with a less adjustable replacement using a suitable washer and a bolt or wing nut. Be ware that a wing nut will come probably come loose and fall off.

Lost the entire assembly- I didn't bother doing anything about it because my son was getting to the upper limit for the seat so his foot was just resting fine on it without the foot cup. We're not using the seat anymore so thought someone else might be able to make use of it which is why I was looking for a replacement bolt. i figured a normal nut/bolt was an option.
