After being off-line over Christmas and New Year, it's back -

The revamped page (at a new url) still doesn't have the temperature!

The temperature *is* on the 'last 48 hours' view - but not on any of the other 'last x...' views.

The Solar radiation data seems to be broken too. It's now measuring negative at times and doesn't seem to be much greater during the day.

Just e-mail Dr Massimo Vieno at 'go (at) geos.ed.ac.uk' and he can check the systems. I don't know if the earlier e-mail address I have for him still works.

    Spoiler alert: No, it doesn't.

It seems our friend Dr Vieno is now working for the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology. It also seems that the KB weather station is very much unavailable, to the repeated frustrations of lecturer Hugh Pumphrey, who at least has a separate feed of Edinburgh weather via the airport:

And if you just want the graphic (which is refreshed often):

Pleased to see that this graphic is still getting updated regularly, currently showing the latest angry weather stats.

The wind direction chart also rather beautifully matches the main runway of Edinburgh airport (note the "24" which means aligned at 240°).
