"Earthy will leave Canonmills after the Festival at the start of September.
They’re not being forced to leave, and there’s no sign that redevelopment of the site is about to start soon.
Rather, director Patricia Stephen told Spurtle, the team are going now for commercial reasons. They want to leave at a time of their own choosing, and – in the absence of substantial new investment in the old building – before running the business here efficiently and correctly becomes too difficult."
