reports on Twitter that 'innocent closed at tunnel' because of a car off the road.

John lauder's saying that cyclists can divert through Duddingston. Not clear which end of tunnel car is blocking? Presume it was the top, but not sure why that would require diversion through Duddingston?

    Anyone know more?

@John_Lauder: Update for Edinburgh East cyclists. You can cycle through Duddingston Village on road. Thx @policescotland #sustrans

Just got turned around at the tunnel and then can confirm that you can cycle through the park from Duddingston and it is quite nice (weather aside) with no other cars being on the road.
I did not quite make it to the tunnel (so cannot comment on the state of the car etc) as a large posse of cyclists warned me to turn back.

Thanks - lurked for long enough but never had much useful to say (as online, as in life)

We wouldn't want to be reducing the speed limit on the park roads below 30 now would we, or even thinking about enforcing it.

That tunnel needs more situational awareness.

Actually looks like the railings should have been wearing a helmet ...
