This year, the Janapar Grant will provide equipment and mentorship for one young person to set forth into the world on a rite-of-passage journey by bicycle
The grant will be available to UK residents between the ages of 18-25 who intend to spend a minimum of 6 months travelling abroad. Its purpose is to help young people begin a rite-of-passage journey at a time in their lives when it will benefit them most, with the fewest possible strings attached.

What an awesome idea.
When I win the lottery this is the kind of thing I will spend my money on (I mean funding the grant rather than actually doing the cycling).
