There is a box bike on ebay in Edinburgh, they want at least grand for it but maybe you could take it for test ride.

Failing that did any one ever get round to finishing their trailers?

You're welcome to borrow our trailer - we may even have a spare hitch (or part of one). Or you can take the one off mine and replace when finished. Miggy_magic made it looks very easy when he did it - it just threads through the back wheel/axle thingie.

As we know from previous threads, the Bike Station has one in theory, but it proves impossible to borrow/trial.

Thanks SRD, I might just take you up on that.

I have tried e-mailing the Bike Station to see what would happen. So far, no response.

Other option is to get a fairy godmother invovled and have the pumpkin turned into a carriage, or at the very least a tricycle, that you can ride home

Ah, but then I would have to find four white mice to tow it... ;-)

Thanks for the suggestion steveo, I would love to have a cargo bike, but I don't think I could carry it up to the third floor for storage. There is no where safe at ground level and space in the spare room is a wee bit tight with the three existing bikes...

We've got a home made bike trailer you can borrow for a small fee that goes to Greener Leith, from here:

Just a reminder - anyone registered on this site (and logged in) should be able to PM any other member by either clicking "PM this member" (next to each post) OR go to their own PMs (link near top of page) and put user name into "to" box.

    UPDATE

Had a PM saying that PMs thread has disappeared.

    Anyone else had this problem?

For info - I have no access to PMs (well they must be on the server somewhere, but I don't have hacking skills. (That's not an invite for help!)

OK, pictures of bringing home the biggest pumpkin of the year, not this one, but this one! Just as well we borrowed a trailer, and here is me riding back across the Meadows...

If you carve it into a lantern it will need some candlepower!

WHOA! So we're all going round to Kim's for pumpkin soup then? ;-)

Actually, I think I might have seen you yesterday pulling the trailer, think it was in Lothian Road or something.

Yes pumpkin soup for the next month...

The closest I got to Lothian Road yesterday was going from Gilmore Place to the Meadows.

Hmmm. Shame I wasn't paying more attention! There are a few of those type of trailers about though so perhaps I just saw a different one.
